Weleda salt toothpaste makes your teeth super clean! This is completely different. I think it's the little salt crystals. I like that it is chemical free. Many other reviewers found the salty taste off-putting, but I found the natural salty flavor refreshing. After all, it's in all of our food, so we're not used to having salt in our mouths. The problem is expectation management. Since childhood we have been used to our toothpastes having a mint flavor. Once you let go of that expectation, you can start enjoying the benefits of this toothpaste. When you brush and rinse your mouth with it, you get a feeling of cleanliness and freshness that I have not experienced with any other toothpaste. For variety and variety, I alternate with Weleda Plant Gel Toothpaste, 2.5 fl oz, which is a great toothpaste on its own. costs about $10 for a 2-pack with Prime Shipping (Revain doesn't offer it as of this writing).
