They are perfect for what I wanted. I know they are labeled as monitor stands but I use the pair I received to hold the LED lights and computer speakers. I wanted to elevate my LED lights (which I really like) above the countertop to increase the illuminated workspace. But I also wanted to improve my speakers and this product does both. I like the fact that they are metal and not plastic. They make a very stable impression and the legs are height adjustable. An added benefit of raising my lights and speakers off the tabletop is that there is storage space under the stands, which is approximately 12 inches wide and 6 inches deep. This is ideal for small laptops, tape dispensers, staplers, desktop calculators and more. It was a good price too and I love the fact that they come in pairs.
