These steps work well! My dogs found them immediately and weren't afraid to climb them. Some dog stages do not have a fixed vertical section connecting the stages. And that always scared my dogs. You didn't have that problem. They came assembled and are very light. The only reason I took off a star is because the reviews are accurate and don't always stay the same. But I think it could easily be fixed with duct tape if it bothers me enough. I like being able to move them to other areas of the sofa and chairs so I didn't have them taped down. The only other suggestion is that I would like to order a nicer color. But that's just a preference. I've had many different types of dog walks over the decades. These are definitely my favourites. And they are very easy to clean.
