No major problems with this antenna if you can place it as far away from the truck as possible. This is a mirror mount, not a mirror mount. If you plan to transport it from truck to truck plan for 4 short stainless steel bolts and nuts as the ones provided are incredibly long as shown in the picture. I've driven it about 5000 miles and only lost signal when an antenna could, like in a tunnel or under a bridge in a small town where there are no repeaters.
