Review on ⚡️ Recessed Junction Dimmable Ceiling Industrial Electrical by Luxrite by Steve Jones

I have installed dozens of these open frame LED downlights in the past. These were the first 8 inch lights I saw on the Revain. The product just doesn't work. Aside from the awful documentation that doesn't explain what the extra purple and gray wires are (see pic) or what that weird microswitch (see pic) is in the jar (there must be diagrams or SOME explanation), the bulbs pull those I got, simply on does not go in series. Have they been damaged by another buyer and resold in repackaged condition? I do not know. The light is powered by 120V (see picture) which I can turn on and off with the switch but the light won't come on. Going 120V to the light doesn't make sense either if it's low power. Only 12V MAX should go to the light. Are they broken? Dimmable 8" recessed LEDs are hard to find, but avoid them at all costs.
