I don't know what was stored with it but it smelled like VERY STRONG old women's perfume or bad essential oils or something. So much so that my entire kitchen and living room smelled weird and bad too. I put it outside for 3 days, it still smells. I ran it through a dryer (air dryer) with dryer sheets and it still smelled. I sprayed him with fever and then he smelled like an old woman and fever. It's currently sitting in my garage because I can't put it in my house. Smell aside, it's very cute and is exactly the size and color I expected (which is why it got 3 stars instead of 1). Instead of sitting on my dresser, he now keeps garden tools in my garage.
