Replacement OK Sonicare

It's time to order replacement tips for your Sonicare. I've been trying to re-order the Trilink tips we bought last year but they're out of stock. So I started searching here, analyzing photos and checking reviews. Earlier Trilink heads were similar to the original Sonicare heads in that they had a metal ring at the bottom (not sure exactly what it's for) and a D-shaped hole to accept a D-bar on top of the Sonicare. I noticed that many reviews of modern heads complained that they didn't fit well and that the bore wasn't D-shaped; rather it is round and you must mount the head onto the Sonicare D-Shaft. I wanted to avoid that because we share a Sonicare as a husband and wife and each of us puts on our own brush head every time we brush our teeth. The photo of this Zuva brush head shows the metal ring and D-shaped hole and reviews. were good, so we bought them. So far a day later they seem fine. The heads correspond to the photos in the advertisements. But one minor thing that I hadn't noticed before is that they don't come with a plastic brush guard like all of our previous heads. It's not a big problem; We just need to protect the bristles from crushing/deformation when traveling. We have several covers from previous Trilink heads and they fit but are loose; They don't snap onto slightly smaller heads. Another thing is that the side profile of the brushes is shaped like the letter W; that is, the rows of bristles are cut to different lengths to achieve this profile. This is much more pronounced than the earlier brushes. It seems to me that not many ends of the bristles come into contact with the teeth/gums when brushing teeth/gums. Or, if I press harder, some of the longer bristles will bend to the side. Maybe I just have to get used to it, but I've never seen a toothbrush with such different bristle lengths.

Pros
