Review on πŸ“ž Clarity D712 Cordless Phone for Moderate Hearing Loss - Base Phone for Clarity D702HS (Not Included) by Adam Walsh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far so good

The sound is a bit raspy. Not as clear as the phone we replaced. This phone is for my mother who has vision problems and dementia. It doesn't tolerate changes, so I wasn't sure if that would work. She's had it for 3 weeks now and still not sure. PROS: Because it's white, the keys offer great contrast. (The previous phone was black with black buttons and white lettering. It doesn't suit her.) The numbers are large and easy to read. There are fewer buttons on the handset and stand, so it's less awkward than some other phones. The volume is easily accessible and it can get loud, but it doesn't have to. The answering machine buttons are simple and large. CONS: I wish there was a setting to remove the call log on the handset. She is embarrassed and upset when she writes that she has missed calls. I clear my call log every week that I visit. I would like the text on the answering machine to be printed in a larger font. The caller ID window doesn't have big font so it's still hard for them to see.

Pros
  • Clear Boosts incoming sound by up to 30 dB
Cons
  • Slightly irregular
