Review on πŸ’‘ Enhanced Belkin 6-Outlet Wall Mount Surge Protector with Dual USB Ports: Efficient 1 AMP / 5 Watt Charging by Kev Mills

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes! I take it with me when I travel.

This is exactly what I was looking for - something to keep all my chargers in one place at home and something that will come in handy when I travel and get a room at a hotel or campsite where there is only one or two outlets. I can plug this in and then plug my computer, phone charger, kindle charger, headphone charger and other things into it. I also travel with a 3 pin to 2 pin adapter because some places (like Japan and our church camp) only have 2 pin outlets. And because this Belkin strip has a long stem that needs to be plugged into an outlet with a grounded bottom hole in a two-outlet outlet, a pin converter helps extend the length of this thing's plug so I can plug it into a Plug in an outlet that doesn't. You don't have an extra outlet to work with the shaft. The two USB ports are very handy for charging my phone and Kindle - I can just leave the cables in the charger and plug my device into it when needed, and I don't have to constantly unplug the cables from my computer. The supplied screw is also practical, with which the device can be attached more firmly to a commercially available 2-way socket (replaces the usual plastic cover, the screw goes through the middle screw of the socket). The only downside to this is the shank - it adds great structural support when inserted, but it makes this thing difficult to use in places where the shank hits the wall before the sockets go into the sockets .
