This hole punch is amazing. Finally, you can pierce multiple layers of fabric, vinyl, cork, leather, etc. Makes perfect holes for inserting rivets! The only downside to these types of punches is that you can only punch holes on the edge of the fabric. Perfect for bag straps! Sometimes there is a problem when you need decorative rivets in the middle of the bag. I can recommend this product unreservedly!

I had several leather punches and they were very difficult to use. I remembered buying a pair of Herm Sprenger dog collars which were of very high quality. I took a chance and ordered these. This has to be the best hole punch I have. I used several stamps of different sizes. Holes cut cleanly with 1 push every time. This tool is very strong and not as weak as the Chinese stamps I have owned or used in the past. You get what you pay for and this is a great example.

Best punch I have ever bought! It went through thick skin like paper. My husband and I both trembled trying to poke holes in the new leather straps for his harness and gave up. I liked this hole punch first! I've used a lot of the non-brands and they just don't hit as cleanly as this shot. However, after about 6 weeks of use, the punch I use most often just went a little too far. Because of this, it no longer breaks through because it is not long enough to bond to the plate below. I bought two of these from supposedly different suppliers. Both arrived in boxes that were really a mess. End valves are ripped, torn, sealed with duct tape. Each of the tools had at least one defective punch. A 4mm size was not round at all, another tool had a punch with large chips from the front cutting edge. Both must have been comebacks. . I save yourself some time and say yes, it's definitely worth the money. I work with leather for a living and have been through a lot of bumps. Really nice CS Osborne, fancy German Knippex and $12 Chinese ones that look exactly like this. That is the difference. Standard hole punches just don't give you the leverage you need for thicker materials like leather, or for clean holes in fine-grained materials. CS Osborne and Knippex fall into this category.
