I actually bought them to store small things I use at home for crafts, hanging pictures and other such things. I have a similar box that I bought many years ago when it got better. While my older one doesn't have a lid, it's made of heavier plastic and is smooth on both sides. They have grooves that I find very uncomfortable. So I stacked these thinner boxes along with the combs inside after realizing that this product doesn't come with instructions for new builders. I've scoured the internet to see if I can find my old version which I think I got from Michael or Joanna. No luck so I settled on these. They will be enough and I doubt I'll ever need more than these 15. I like that they are quite transparent. I wouldn't use them for shoes. Save the boxes your shoes arrive in!
