I haven't had this product long enough to really appreciate its durability and strength, but it seems very good either way. My only issue right now is that my wireless keyboard connected to my iPad has a molded cable slot that is too narrow for an easy connection to charge the iPad. To make sure this was the problem, I took the iPad out of the keyboard frame and the connector fitted perfectly.
