These Amazing Little Flashlights! These are independent rechargeable lights. They come with a small magnetic adhesive/sticker that can be placed on any flat surface, or you can stick the light on any magnetic surface without the sticker. As they are rechargeable the magnet is perfect because you can take it off, charge it again which takes about 2 hours and then put it back where it was...or put it somewhere else! I had too much fun deciding where to put them! A charge in low mode lasts for 6 months. About 3 months in upload mode. Store your charging cable in a safe and memorable place! The LED lamp itself has a pleasant, gentle, warm white (yellow) color. For me, waking up in the middle of the night and moving around doesn't bother my eyes. The photo I uploaded required a lot of focusing - there are 3 LEDs inside that appear to be pointing left, center and right so the light is spread evenly. I also have a version of this light that you plug into an outlet. One difference is that the rechargeable version keeps the light on for about 20 seconds, while the plug-in version keeps it on for 1 minute. More specifically, it turns off 20/60 seconds after stopping movement. I highly recommend Avon LED lights if you are looking for great light!
