DO NOT BUY the best in lighting and electronics
The instructions say there is an orange wire when it is not there at all. Still, I plugged it in, leaving the unmentioned yellow wire isolated and unused. The RPM jumps from 1000 idle to 8000 every two seconds. Turn on the engine and the needle jumps from 800 to 8000 without stopping. The thing is literally junk and I threw it straight in the trash. I had low expectations from the start and they turned out to be right. I will buy a car sensor which I should have from the start. Don't buy this junk. Save $40
