Purchased to replace a broken and leaking Original Equipment brake light. Ease of installation. Just make sure the metal wires are properly inserted into the slots before connecting to your existing light bulb sockets. Be sure to connect the third brake light to the center socket and one light socket is empty and unconnected as they are LEDs not bulbs on either side. It has a thicker gasket so it sticks out more than the original but isn't leaking yet. Be sure to use the original screws for installation, not the ones that came with the new light. The LEDs appear brighter than incandescent bulbs and the tinted finish gives your truck a nice dark look.
