It was worth it!: For pregnant women

I'm trying not to dramatize, but for me as a new mom who broke down under stress for the first time, this bra was life changing. My baby struggled to gain weight because my milk didn't come within 5 days of birth and my supply couldn't meet demand. I started pumping from one breast and feeding the baby from the other. I have a Medela Pump in Style breast pump and I need to hold a 6 pound baby with one hand and the pump with the other hand. My baby does not lay or suckle well when not held in the correct position and has had severe colic. She refuses to sleep out of my arms so I can't put her down while I pump. You can imagine how frustrated and tired I was when she started cluster feeding more than 12 hours a day. This bra was a desperate buy from Amazon last night and I'm happy to report it was a success. I would like the money to buy more. The fabric is soft, the bra is well fitted and offers good coverage. I think it's a sports bra. I can pull it down to breastfeed and the inner layers keep the pump in place perfectly. I'm a nurse and when I get back to work I'll be wearing this while I'm still breastfeeding and pumping. This saves time and mind. The only complaint I have is that the inner part that holds the pump in place goes right through my nipple and if your nipples are already sore and cracked it can be annoying. This will go away as my nipples adjust to breastfeeding and this is also due to my anatomy and not a product deficiency. Also, the layers sometimes curl, but that's to be expected. I've machine washed my bra a few times already, despite the instructions that hand wash is best for the elastic, and haven't noticed any loose stitching or wear on the elastic. Size wise, I ordered a large - I'm 160lbs postpartum, 5ft 6" and wore a regular 36C bra. (I'm probably 36D when breastfeeding - and it fits well, if a bit tight.
