I liked it. I had to make some modifications to the rubber inserts. You will need an Allen key for installation. Holds up well. Very good quality mirror. But it's not for every boat. Luckily I managed to get it working for me.

Inexpensive, easy to assemble and lets me see behind me very well! I like that it folds up easily when not in use so my bag fits nicely. Very secure mount! Rubber bushings of different sizes are great. No chrome to rust or pit, will not rust. I like it!

I ordered this mirror for a boat because I read CIPA's Revain "Answer" product which said it was rated up to 1 for "Rail". 1/4 inch would fit. It doesn't even fit in my 1 inch boat windshield frame. If you loosen the screw it will fall apart before it fits in the 1 inch frame. Instead of wasting the (almost) $7 they want back, I'm going to try and get some longer screws and see if it fits in. Let it open just enough to be useful.

I bought this for my pontoon and installed it on the top bimini rail next to the helm station. The rail is 1" square and works great. I have just returned a very expensive professional mirror and have to say it is just as good as the previous one. The other one was good but didn't fit where I wanted on my boat. Someone has reported that the bimini track setup isn't stable enough but I haven't found this to be the case and I can raise it up so there aren't any blind spots, no problems pulling up

Not perfect for my Yamaha windshield frame. Totally agree with the others regarding the clamp size and short screw for my frame. Completely difficult to install. It's really difficult to get a screw on the threads. The clip must be removed to install, particularly due to the narrow section that is still above the windshield rail. Good quality mirror, one thing to know is the clip is larger than your average windshield. but none of them worked with my '98 biner or '66 ski boot, I was able to temporarily press it between one of the pins on the windshield to test it and it held up fine, but you'll have to get a thin piece of rubber to do it on one or both sides of the shell to secure it securely without having to do what I did. I wanted to like this mirror but I couldn't. The size is good for my 22ft wakeboard boat, but the mounting and reach were a hindrance. The clip mount is universal and has rubber grommets to fit different windows. My window frames are 3/4" thick and I could barely mount this thing with the thinnest of washers.
