This is a great big, thick, and super heavy cotton "old fashioned" type of string mop. And it gets the job done really well. We have hardwood and LVP flooring and can just use tap water most days for a quick mopping. I used the sink to saturate the mop (I really need to get one of the special buckets they make for these type of mops that wring them out!) and I hand wrung the mop. I snapped it into the SWOPT pole and mopped about 1000 square feet in five minutes. The mop got pretty filthy by the end, but no worries, quick rinse into the sink and then into the washing machine! Good as new.
