Review on πŸ”₯ Enhance Your Vehicle's Cooling System with the MotoRad T-62 Radiator Cap by Matthew Davenport

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I liked the design at first, but it fell apart after 12,000 miles in the Florida heat. (Parts fell into bin)

Update 26th August 2018 --- after 12,000 miles the plastic holding the pressure seal and spring broke causing the spring, inner seal cap and bits of plastic to fall into the expansion tank (Catch out the pain in the ass). I hope the smaller bits of plastic didn't leak through the system and get stuck somewhere in a critical state. Instead of the one star I think it deserves I'm giving it two stars as it would fill a pressing need and it goes well with my 2006 Saab. 9-3 Aero (2.8 V6 Turbo), but I wouldn't recommend it in the long run. This one has lasted 12,000 miles (in the Florida heat). Initial review (will be updated later if necessary). Construction and quality appears to be an improvement over the original part. I usually swap out original parts, but I was disappointed with the design of the original part and read very positive reviews about it, so I decided to buy this one instead. Having both covers turned over, no doubt upon visual inspection I would have preferred this one (MotoRad T-62) to the original. Can't comment on durability since I just installed it (I'll update if needed). This went into my 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero SportCombi (2.8 liter 6 cylinder turbo). Hope that helps!
