Holds about 3 cups of liquid coffee at a time. Slightly worn print on both sides of the mug which is nice. I have a "Be careful or you'll end up in my romance" phrase that I use during my Zoom classes. There are a few bumps on the surface, but nothing sharp, and the grip is fairly integrated and secure. I've microwaved my coffee for 60 seconds a few times and the frosting hasn't cracked or cracked so there's less chance of some weird chemicals being poured into me along with my coffee. Like this mug, I can just buy another one for that inevitable moment when a guest forgets our crazy kitchen floor is uneven and throws the mug onto the ceramic tile. I look to the teacup when my classmates are acting weird or wordy and it helps me maintain a comfortable demeanor, imagine how I creatively played them as murder victims in a cozy detective :) Because you can't be rude, or? Just sip your coffee and give them a social "You passed page 8” smile.
