I needed a gaming keyboard and chose this one because it is white like the PC case I chose for my future gaming PC. I'm new to the quirky world of keyboards and didn't realize how customizable they are until I searched YouTube and that's when I realized I needed a keyboard that I could upgrade in the future. Not sure if I'll be changing switches or keycaps, but I love that I have the option with this keyboard. I'm no keyboard expert but I can already say I love the feel and how soft and smooth the keystrokes are. . that's what you call it 👀 Basically it's not very loud and good to avoid typos. I went with black switches, although red ones seem to be the most popular among gamers. The red switches sound very good, but I was concerned that they would be very loud when playing with friends, so black seemed like the best option. If you are unsure which switches to use I would recommend watching a YouTube video. to help you decide. It will take some time but it's worth it. Promise! Overall I'm very happy with my new keyboard and can't wait to play with it once my PC is fully assembled. At the moment I'm only using it with my laptop to get used to it because it's very different from the flat keys on my Macbook. However, I love it and am obsessed with the RGB capability which I think makes it so much better. That and the price itself make this keyboard a worthwhile investment. If you are looking for a gaming keyboard, you cannot go wrong with this keyboard. I'm just saying. 😉
