They do their job

Water resistance makes it a thin plastic bottom. At some point something will pierce it and it can easily tear off. What's good is the elastic on the side, it's very wide and the fabric has a nice stretch. A bit heavy duty as it hasn't shrunk after washing. He kept in shape. It fits the mattress very well so the coverage is pretty good. Good medium mattress. It does the job.
