Not that I expected better quality, but these were particularly bad. They looked as expected in the picture and were cute but there was no backing, literally a NEGATIVE backing. I think it may have to do with the width as well as wanting them to fit snugly on everything. I ordered my normal size but they were too big. Decrease one size. I'm still considering ordering a size down, but knowing I won't be very comfortable in it, I'm not sure yet. Maybe with a smaller size they will be more cozy from all sides? It seemed more like a shoe size in general than a size. It felt like they were inches from my feet lol. I can order elsewhere because I want a pair of shoes in this style, but I need to be on my feet for a certain amount of time. And I expect my legs to be pissed off in an hour or so lol. I say go ahead and order them, make sure you go a whole size down. Then maybe install your own arch supports if you need them for gigs or festivals where you need to watch your feet! If it doesn't work, come back! They can definitely work for some people just depending on your needs.
