Works great. It makes sense to use a battery grip with your a7II, a7RII, a7SII as not only is it much better in terms of battery life but it also makes you look like a pro and most customers are used to big DSLR cameras, which also helps. , the finish doesn't match the camera like Sony's original grip, but it's at least $240 cheaper than this one. All buttons work, it's a whole new experience, and even makes video recording more stable. Tested with 3 Sony lenses (FE85mmf1.8, FE50mmf1.8, FE28-70) and aperture and shutter as the focus worked fine.
