Review on MSI Optix MAG322CQR 2560X1440 LCD: High Dynamic Range, Adaptive Sync, 165Hz – Non Glare, Curved Display by Josh Fiedler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No real technical review, mostly at a high level.

For a gaming monitor, I find the image quality to be outstanding so far. I think the base of this monitor takes up a lot of space, but the legs are mostly narrow. So it's doable and reasonable, and I'm not sure the design could be better, especially with such a large screen. I'll tell when I started using it because the screen is so big it gives a good sense of immersion in the game, but I got a little dizzy spinning fast when moving or fighting . Moving the monitor a little further away from me really helped and I don't feel like I've lost the immersion. I believe there was another feedback on the monitor startup delay - the real story. I'm not exactly sure when exactly this is true, I think another review covers it better than I do, but for a while before the image appears, this black screen appears. I don't mind it, just wait a bit for a nice picture to appear and the game to start, but for those who have problems with the delayed gratification. Ideally? No, quality – yes!
