Edit/Update: I'm still very happy with this purchase! Pros: No one can tell it's a fan. Everyone thinks I wear headphones around my neck. The price is also a big plus. We sell personal fans in our gift shop, but they cost around $45 with a small fan that can tangle your hair. This device is also light in weight. The lowest and medium settings aren't loud when the air is circulating, so they don't affect my ability to hear my patients. Cons: Battery life: Lasted 3 hours during one of my shifts after a full charge. My only guess is that he was running at medium speed at the time. **************** At first glance, this product looked very cheap. BUT. It works wonders when I'm at work and need a cool down. I work in a very busy preoperative field as an RN. I charge it every night and it lasts me through my 6-13 hour shifts. I use it as needed when I feel an increase in body temperature. :) I also love the fact that it stays in place when I have to bend over and I don't have to worry about my hair getting caught in it. I want it to be black which I think gives a smoother look. While striking, it is more aesthetically pleasing than a hanging neck fan with real fans at the end.
