Review on Cougar Motor H11 H8 H9 by John Roby

I wanted to replace the stock headlight bulbs on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. Cougar Motor brand LEDs were highly recommended by several review sites I visited, so I decided to give them a try. The LEDs arrived very quickly and well packaged. My first impression is that they are very well made and installation is fairly easy. The light on the driver's side came on fine, but there was a problem on the passenger's side. For some reason the rubber gasket on the LED made it very difficult to install the LED on the passenger side. This is likely a vehicle specific issue and not an issue with the LED itself. Both LEDs plugged into mains power with no problems and the light worked fine. Each LED has a ring that is adjustable with the included small Allen key, allowing you to tailor the light to your desired lighting pattern. These LEDs are significantly brighter than standard headlights, but are not dangerous. Can't comment on the durability of the LEDs as they were installed in less than a day. I will update my review if their performance slows down or I have other issues with them. At the moment I can highly recommend them.
