The material of this underwear is soft and smooth. My 4 year old wears a size 5 which fits well but a toddler who wears a size 6 will fit him too. I bought them the largest size and they fit perfectly leaving a little room for growth when he tried them on. After several cold water washes and medium tumble drying, they shrank to about the size of his old baby underwear size 4. Overall I'd say they're great for comfort and style (funny prints!) but make sure you have two Buy sizes bigger than you think.
