Review on 💡 GeeekPi USB Isolator Module ADUM3160 - High-Voltage Protection for USB Devices with Digital Isolation (5KV ESD Max) by Jason Arkin

Although it looks the same in the pictures as say Audio Quest Jitterbug or iSilencer3.0 USB Audio Noise Eliminator/Suppressor, it isn't! This is a dedicated 2.5kV full/low speed USB isolator digital protection device from Analog Devices. The build quality is pretty clean, but the feature doesn't meet my needs for USB alarm noise reduction. I'm not sure what this article is for exactly, but neither audio pass-through nor data access via mass storage are part of its functionality. I've experienced intermittent USB drive access through a 3x USB hub on (1) one of (2) two devices, then nothing happened on number 2 using the same storage device and hub. The blue LED will illuminate indicating data activity. (?) I don't want to discount too much as I misunderstood the advertised functionality so I'm comparing this product to the upper and lower price ranges instead. compared to the enclosed USB device versions available here on Revain.com. Anywho.Back to my happy place after a friendly RMA from Revain.com. I returned two of these for the correct type of USB noise reduction device: iSilencer3.0 USB Audio Noise Eliminator/Suppressor with the best results for the desired noise reduction task.
