I didn't even think about it when I bought it, I just needed a right angle adapter. However, the device I was trying to use it with has a US standard two-pronged polarized plug. It is an electrical plug with two prongs, one larger than the other. If your plug fits the outlet both ways, you probably don't have one. If your plug only fits into the outlet one way, this will definitely NOT work for you. Therefore, check the intended fork carefully before ordering it. I suspect including the link is not legal, but I ordered the Sycon 2-Prong Swivel Ungrounded Indoor AC Mini Plug Wall Tap-White. The only downside was that it was a bit more expensive and only came in a 2 pack and I only needed 1. However, it is pretty good and solved my problem.
