I have several other battery powered handheld vacuums. They have stronger suction, longer battery life, can pick up a lot more dirt between cleanings, and (obviously) cost more. Both collect rubbish in canisters built into the vacuum cleaner. Like many cheaper handheld vacuums, this Erwoosc vacuum cleaner collects dirt directly in the vacuum cleaner body. This design reduces the amount of dirt that can be collected and reduces suction as dirt builds up. Many portable batteries have this design, even from brands with a long history and reputation. I use Erwoosc to clean my car carpets between more thorough vacuuming at the shop or car wash. Suction is adequate, but cleaning with a stiff bristle nozzle is required to make any progress. If you have a lot of pet hair, you probably won't like it. Oh, and the brush head is too heavy for dash/dash use - at least I'm not risking the dash trim by trying to use it. The supplied extension hose can be attached between the vacuum cleaner body and the nozzle. I tried to use it. My idea was to place the vacuum cleaner on top of the transmission tunnel and then use the other end of the hose to pull the brush head across the carpet in the footwell. FAIL. The hose is too short to reach the vacuum cleaner at any convenient distance and so stiff that the vacuum cleaner swings it behind it. Good idea, but not implemented very well. I suggest spending more money on a vacuum that has a built in canister container, which gives more room for dirt and keeps collected dirt in the suction path while you're using it. This Erwoosc is suitable for storing in the boot for those times when you need to do a quick vacuum, but that's about it.
