Great for garage door openers and other single socket wonders

I use surge protectors around the house. It's great for things like a garage door opener, washer, dryer, fridge, etc. My electrician recommended this unit and I've bought plenty for the home. So far, so good. I had to guess the length of the cord, which isn't true!
