Looking for the best defender.

At 540 joules, this protector isn't particularly strong. Also, the LED indicators are not very bright to show the protector's working status. After a few days of use, I replaced it with a different tread.

Winner! Accessories and consumables

Perfect! Exactly what was needed! Our garage door shorted out after a thunderstorm and started raising and lowering on its own. The mechanic explained what had happened and advised us to buy a short surge protector to keep it from happening again. The ones I bought at Walmart didn't fit in the tight space between the ceiling plug and the fluorescent tube. This buddy is spot on. No cable. Installed directly above the spout. And the light tells us it's doing its job. Winner!

Ideal for traveling light or using a cruise ship without a surge protector

But I wanted a very small surge protector to be used in conjunction with this cruise ship outlet extender when I am NOT on a cruise ship e.g. B. when I'm in a hotel. Two devices together give me protection no matter how I travel or where I am. Ideal.

Great for opening garage doors and other marvels with a plug

I use surge protectors all over the house. It's great for things like a garage door opener, washer, dryer, fridge, etc. My electrician recommended this unit and I've bought plenty for the home. So far, so good. I had to guess the length of the cord, which isn't true!

Good little power filter

This is a very compact power filter; it doesn't even block another outlet. It seems well made, but I haven't experienced any power surges to see if it actually works. I don't like the green and red LEDs on the front that much, as while they look a little cheap, thankfully they're not very bright and aren't visible from the angle.
