Tested - works in the home Sensors and alarms

Well, hung it a few feet above the stove and turned it on - in less than a minute the level rose to over 5 and the sensor started alarming - not the loudest , but good enough size indeed small and so I don't think they can accommodate a louder speaker - it's not quite 85dB.
