Arrived in good condition, gas connection faces straight to the rear and hob is not deep enough to clean the worktop. Had to insert the fitting 90 degrees and had to bend it a little (the fitting is too close to the bottom to rotate 90 degrees to fit. If you used one of the adapters provided the gas port will point directly at it countertop, so the line has to make a sharp 90 angle and even then you can't fit the top back into the hole.This hob is really meant to sit on the top and not the bottom of the worktop but it wasn't easy to keep bending the sheet metal and bending the tube to attach it.
