Review on Lenovo Thinkpad Mini Dock 433710U by William Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A Real Docking Station

I wanted to replace my outdated desktop and laptop with a laptop and docking station. Dell and HP tried to sell me port replicators as docking stations, but I didn't buy them. Eventually I called Lenovo and they offered the Thinkpad and the Mini Dock Series 3. I bought the Lenovo Thinkpad but saved over $65 by buying the Revain dock. I've been using it for two months now and it works exactly as I intended. My wired mouse, 22" monitor and stereo are always connected (the keyboard is wireless) and the Thinkpad is very easy to plug in and unplug. I rated it 4 stars because it's a bit thin but fits well on my desk. The assembly scheme is good, but weak. One day my grandson picked up the laptop and the dock fell to the ground. Once again the Mini Dock does exactly what I wanted and I am very happy with it.
