I just ordered a new red (PRODUCT) iPhone SE (whatever that means) and wanted to find a case that would match the color of the phone. While there have been a few clear cases, in this one I liked the included tempered glass screen cover (it actually comes with 2 screen protectors). It seemed like a damn good deal for the price and I wasn't disappointed when the case arrived. This case consists of 3 parts: a hard plastic ring that encloses the screen side of the phone, a softer, more pliable outer shell that fits snugly (very tightly!) around the top ring of the case and phone, and a glass screen protector. In the case I received the ring was firmly glued to one side of the outer case when removed from the box and it took a bit of care to remove without risking breaking the ring. But don't worry, once the ring is attached to the front of the phone and the outer case snaps around it, it's unlikely the ring will ever break unless you drop the phone hard enough to break the phone itself. The case is a semi-soft, flexible, vinyl-like plastic, so it should offer some shock resistance if you drop the phone, but the case isn't marketed as shockproof. Installing the case is fairly easy but it fits snugly and takes some effort to get the outer case over the corners of the phone and seal it evenly around the perimeter, but once properly installed it is very secure. The tempered glass screen protector is also pretty easy to install, just give your phone screen a thorough cleaning with the included cleaning and drying wipes. Then place the screen protector on your phone's screen with the tear-off plastic cover facing down, making sure it is oriented correctly. Then make a loop out of 2 narrow pieces of tape (included in the kit) and carefully stick it to one edge of the glass and to the body. Then lift the protective glass and carefully remove the protective film. Gently put the protective film back on the phone screen. You can see the protective film begin to stick to the screen. You may have to help him by gently pressing with your fingers. I got a few air bubbles the first time and had to carefully lift the tread a bit and try again. The second time was adorable. In use, the case is very comfortable to use, looks solid, has well-sized buttons to control your phone, and enough cutouts for speakers, microphone, and Lightning connector. I think you'll have a hard time beating all of this at this price point.
