So I understand what others are saying when they say the parts appear cheap - the clasp is not metal and although it is a durable plastic I could easily bend it or seriously break if i tried. Otherwise, the rear belt area is really well protected and well tensioned for me. One cool thing is that the plastic clip has a lip as a safety measure for thinner straps and has significant padding on the inside (I chose to keep it in a case even when not wearing it for added protection lol ). I put him on hips (jean shorts only, no belt) for about two days off and just for running it worked really well. Obviously it was a little springy without the strap and pulled my shorts down a bit, but held up for hours of walking. The removal ranged from easy to where I had to wiggle around a bit. My work is pretty intense in terms of durability so I think this will be a real test to see if the seams/fasteners break within the next week but so far so good. I will update if anything goes wrong. It's been a month or two and I use it regularly at work and still no damage. My job is very intense, I often stumble over things, so I think that says a lot. In this case, I only took my phone with me so I could use it 24 hours a day. 10/10 Honestly, when you receive the item, inspect it and just play with it for a while. If you feel it is broken ask the seller to replace it as I think you just received a damaged version as mine was 100% durable and works surprisingly well.
