You need butter, popcorn, and flavoring, and butter is a special brand that actually tastes like butter, and you won't get that flavor in junk bought at your local grocery store. That thing makes great popcorn. However, I'm skeptical how long this thing will last. The bulb blew out immediately when used in the mud, but a quick trip to the hardware store meant I had 2 packs of the same slightly lower wattage bulbs on hand. Can't give this unit five stars because it's not high end, but for home use and two servings it's a good deal. If you want to make more popcorn, you better make more. This works fine for me now!
