I ordered this boost ring hoping to see if it really is as good as people say and if it would solve the bonding problem I've had with *everyone Boost ring* that I have bought so far. Short answer: yes. Longer answer: I usually try not to screw the filter all the way into the boost ring for easier removal. However, with the C-PL I usually end up with the filter getting tighter and tighter as I use it more and more with the boost ring. As a result, I mostly have trouble separating them, even with filter keys. The first thing I did with this boost ring was take the C-PL filter and screw it all the way in. and see if I can unscrew it by hand. Each time I pulled it tighter and tighter. So far - I haven't had any problems unscrewing the filter, even if it's screwed into the ring as tightly as possible. To sum up this boost ring is a little heavier than others I've had, the tabs on it are a great feature as you have more room to separate it from the filter, it's definitely well made and (most importantly) does it is exactly what you would expect without the risk of being tied to your filters.
