I've heard of the benefits of using natural wood (sandalwood or bamboo) combs and brushes to detangle hair and to apply natural oils to the hair shaft, which is very difficult to achieve is coarse kinky curly black hair aka 4C, but I didn't realize how useful these changes would be. MY HAIR LOVES THESE COMBS. Detangling is faster and the hair does not stick. I have far less breakage than any other comb and the combination of the wide tooth comb and rattail comb is perfect for easily detangling large strands and parting hair at the roots. I don't know why I haven't tried them for so long. I'm just thrilled that I finally made it. PS This particular seller had the best price and shipping options. I would definitely buy again!
