If you like mechanical keyboards but don't like noise, this is the keyboard for you. It's similar to the MX Brown switches mentioned on the Perixx website EXCEPT a lot more tactile. It has a clean, minimalist design and is a pleasure to type on. Pleasant tactile feedback, not quiet but loud enough for audible feedback and suitable for use in tight spaces such as open office workspaces where it won't disturb your co-workers (or roommates). I have two of these, one for the office and one for home, which are used for hours a day (I'm a programmer) and haven't had any problems with deleted letters as some have mentioned. I really love these keyboards. I've researched mechanical and spiral springs (Unicomp) but the noise was too much for my surroundings. This is a great alternative with no compromises. TIP: If you find the spacebar (or any of the big keys with stabilizers) to be a little wobbly like I did, a simple trick is to remove the keycap and gently lubricate the metal bracket. with some white fat.
