This is my second. I had my first one almost 2 years before I spilled a whole cup of coffee on it last week and ruined it. I've read the latest reviews on this keyboard and the latest and greatest options as I'm ready to upgrade from iPad Air 2 to iPad Pro. After reading about the latest keyboards I decided to just pick this one up again. I'm sooo happy I did it. Here's what I like best and why it works for me: 1. It's super light. Most other keyboards I've had in the past have added noticeable weight. This one is light as a feather, but very durable and well made.2. I love the prongs holding it in place. They are unobtrusive and this makes carrying my iPad as easy as possible as there is only one additional panel and not the entire case that slips onto the iPad itself. I've had plenty of these in the past and thought I needed some extra protection in the form of a case if I drop my iPadd, but I drop it with this one all the time and it protects it great. I've also found that snap-on cases damage the screen when turning them on and off. There are only 2 rubber nubs holding the keyboard in place and they work very, very well. People who complain that the tabs don't hold the keyboard in place simply didn't tighten them properly before inserting the grips into the iPad.3. Battery life. It's just WOW. I have to charge it about every 5-6 months and use it 3-5 hours EVERY DAY! functionality. The backlit keys on the keyboard are great and easy to turn on and "sleep" at night or in the dark when not in use. Simply switch off during the day. The buttons are well positioned and although I've read reviews of issues with some buttons, they stick. I never had this problem with my last one and this one works just as well. I love how easy it is to switch between English and Spanish keyboards. To be honest I type A LOT for work and this keyboard makes it fast, fluid and easy to work with all my documents. positions. I love that I can hang this on the airplane seat in front of me to watch a movie. I simply place a small blanket or tissue in the seat cover and lower the keyboard into the cover, then tilt the iPad slightly so that it hangs up and out of the cover, with the weight of the keyboard holding it in place. I also like that at night when I want to read on the iPad, I just align the keyboard with the iPad and use the keyboard as a prop. Also works well as a "book cover" when you want to read and just tilt the whole thing and place the keyboard in the "portrait" position like the front flap of a book cover. I'm glad I just went ahead and got the same keyboard!
