I've had this laptop for about 4 months now. I am a full time student and as such I use this laptop for all my school work as well as gaming. When it comes to performance, this laptop scores very well. I can run Overwatch, Pubg, and other popular games on high and ultra settings while maintaining a solid 50-60 fps. The 256GB SSD really sells this machine thanks to its fast startup and incredibly good multitasking. The keyboard backlight is decent at best, it does its job but turns off after about a minute of inactivity, which can be annoying at times, despite minor complaints. I think the keyboard backlight would be better if it had the option to stay on indefinitely. The typing experience is average, I can type 60-70 words per second without any problems, but I will say that it is worth investing in a separate keyboard if you intend to use it on a desk. I've found that when using the keyboard for gaming, the large bezel at the bottom beneath the keyboard can dig into your wrists and be uncomfortable after long periods of gaming. Conclusion: In terms of performance, this laptop is very well suited for everyday use and gaming. Now my rather negative problems with the laptop. That is hard. It's not the heaviest gaming laptop, but carrying it from class to class in my backpack definitely adds more weight than I'd like, but I understand that's the price for all the performance that comes with this one device. Additionally, there is no 1TB hard drive in this laptop. This is a major setback because when you're gaming, a 256GB SSD can drain very, very quickly. If you are interested in this laptop, I recommend upgrading the storage to a 1TB SSD or simply adding another hard drive, which fortunately this laptop is capable of. The laptop can get quite noisy when gaming, so keep that in mind if you intend to use this device to play video games in public. That being said, the cooling in this machine is way better than expected, I played games for hours and never went over 60 degrees Celsius. In general, this car performed very well for the price. I have no problem playing video games or doing other chores as a full-time college student. Be sure to consider the amount of RAM that is actually offered with this laptop, as well as the weight. Other than that it's a really great little car and I'd recommend it if it's in your budget.
