Since this is a Montessori product I knew it would be strong enough. I kinda jumped at this because it's a fun toy that can keep a toddler busy for a short time and also doesn't overcomplicate our messy room - all the pieces stay on the board as intended! She's too small to really know her alphabet, but she can easily trace the letters across the board. The fee seems a little small, but that's just my opinion. All in all, this is a fairly reliable toy to keep a child occupied!
