Fast external drive
I've been using my OWC Thurderblade 8.0TB drive connected to my 2017 iMac for about two months. This is by far the fastest external drive I've seen. It's definitely quiet since it's an SSD, has no fan, and looks good. I currently have around 4TB of digital photos that I access through Capture One and Photoshop. I've found this to be slower than having photos stolen on my internal SSD (which I couldn't as it's only 1TB. Having other OWC products I expect this to work flawlessly for many years is working.
