I bought them knowing I had to adapt.
I used these on an old 1950's drafting chair because I knew they wouldn't work like that, but that's fine. I welded the included nut to a steel washer and welded the washer to the chair's hollow tubular legs. Then I screwed the wheels into the nut and used the second nut to lock them in place. The wheels are like skateboard wheels, roll and spin smoothly. If you have a table or chair with the right diameter base, they screw right in. I recommend them for their value for money and will be purchasing another set for my matching chair.
