So we ordered this for my wife because our shower is small. It's a good size and fits very well, you just have to take it off when you're done. However, after my wife unpacked it and then threw away the box. She found a large tear right down the middle. I think because of the cold and the traffic. In any case, it's sealed with tape now for her to use. So, I think if you get it intact it will probably help keep your feet smooth. But ours is practically useless without gorilla duct tape holding it together.
