They are perfect for my needs and what a GREAT price! I make and sell jewelry and buy a lot of crystal beads and gemstones. These containers are clear enough to see exactly what is in each container. Each small compartment had its own hinged lid, allowing you to open one at a time, reducing the risk of spills. You can remove a segment from four compartments at once and don't have to process all 28 at once. Each compartment is large enough to hold a large number of beads or charms, yet small enough to be easy to use. I have bought these containers several times and will most likely buy them several more times. They are perfect for my needs.
