I bought this tape after a dermatologist recommended it on Instagram to protect skin from pressure caused by tightness on N95 masks is caused. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and am returning to work during the pandemic. We treat each patient as if infected with the novel coronavirus. Wearing an N95 mask for long periods of time can cause skin irritation, so putting a piece of this tape under the mask helps protect my skin and keeps the mask tight. 100% recommend this product or a similar silicone strap if you wear tight-fitting respirators for a long time.
